Introduction Appointment & Gathering Information
Our Introduction session is a space for you to share what’s been on your mind and what’s led you to seek support. In your first session, we’ll explore your current challenges, any recurring patterns, and what you’d like to change. This is also a chance for you to ask questions and get a feel for how we’ll work together. My role is to listen, support, and begin shaping a path forward that feels right for you.

Making Sense of Your Situation
Together, we’ll connect the dots between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, helping you understand why you might feel stuck or uncertain. We tend to unpack the emotional stuff first, as well as explore influences from your past, the pressures you’re under now, and any limiting beliefs that might be holding you back. Gaining this clarity is an important step toward making meaningful changes in your life - and can be the hardest or longest part of the process.

Working on Your Situation
With fresh insight, we’ll focus on creating real, practical changes that align with the life you want. Whether it’s shifting unhelpful thought patterns, improving confidence, or taking tangible steps toward your goals, I’ll guide you with a mix of therapeutic reflection and coaching strategies. The aim is for you to leave each session feeling clearer, more in control, and empowered to take action.

'IS THIS IT?' FAQS AND FEES

How much do sessions cost, and do you accept insurance?Therapy & Coaching sessions (50 minutes) are £60. I have chosen not to work with insurance companies at this time.

Do you offer face-to-face appointments?All sessions are held online via a secure platform, making therapy accessible from wherever you feel most comfortable. Research shows online therapy is just as effective as in-person sessions, and it removes location barriers, so you can choose the right therapist for you no matter their location. Working remotely has given me the freedom to work from anywhere, and I love helping my clients create lives that offer them the same flexibility and intention.

Are the sessions weekly?Yes. I've found that weekly sessions provide the best results for my clients, as the consistency is a huge part of the process. When too much time passes between sessions, progress is limited, meaning clients often spend longer working towards their goals. I, therefore no longer accept bookings for fortnightly appointments.

How many sessions do I need?Most of my clients start to feel change almost immediately, but to witness long lasting change, expect to require no less than 12 sessions (equivalent to 3 months).

What times do you offer Therapy & Coaching sessions?I offer sessions Monday - Friday (the earliest appointment time is 9.00am and the latest appointment time is 6.00pm UK time). Your therapy session will take place on the same day, and at the same time every week. Afternoon/evening availability tends to be the most desirable, however I do run an active waiting list.

Are the sessions 1:1, or do you see couples?I exclusively work one-to-one with my clients, to ensure they get the tailored support they need. Therapy and coaching is a very personal experience, therefore I dedicate all my attention on you during our sessions. I am not qualified in Couples Therapy, therefore this is not something I can offer.

Can I work with you if I'm not from the UK?Yes, I can work with clients outside the UK. Please let me know your location in our initial session, as different countries have varying regulations regarding therapy. In some cases, my counselling qualifications may not transfer across borders. However, my coaching training applies internationally and I can work with you in a coaching capacity, tailoring our work accordingly.

Can I access crisis support? I need urgent help.I do not offer crisis support. If you are feeling suicidal or at risk of harming yourself, please seek immediate help by visiting A&E or calling 999 (in the UK). You can also reach out to your GP or local NHS mental health service for urgent support. For confidential emotional support, you can contact Samaritans at 116 123.
